The Process

The Problem:

The Japanese learning web app faced challenges due to outdated design, poor user experience, and limited accessibility. This resulted in low engagement, high drop-off rates, and difficulty in navigating courses and resources. A redesign was needed to provide an intuitive, modern interface that enhances user experience, improves accessibility, and boosts learner engagement and retention.

1. Conducted a Comprehensive User Research:

  • User Interviews: Gathered in-depth feedback on user pain points, preferences, and expectations.
  • Surveys: Collect quantitative data on user satisfaction, app usage patterns, and feature preferences.

2. Information Architecture, Wire-framing and, Prototyping

  • Simplified Navigation: Ensure a clear and intuitive user journey.
  • Optimized Visual Design: Enhance aesthetics and readability.
  • Personalize Content: Tailor the app experience to individual user preferences.

3. A/B Testing

  • carried out A/B testing for each improved section

Output Metrics

  • Increased 70% of the NPS to promoters.
